Reconstruction of No.2 59-1, Fuxing Road, Beijing

The original building is reconstructed to be a small complex with a restaurant, offices and a gallery. The frame of curtain wall is decided according to the irregular primary structure in storey height and pillar grid. According to the room functions, it is adopted 4 kinds of enamel glass with different transparencies. The spaces with different dimensions are suspended outwardly to match functions and views. The stereoscopic gallery renewed from the original stairs on the west side could be regarded as a garden which can be appreciated in perpendicular direction.
