Xanadu Site Workstation

Settled on the south of the newly inlisted World Cultural Heritage, Xanadu Site, the station offers ticketing, monitoring, management and public rest rooms for the site. A group of white circular and oval “tents” with different sizes and heights, enclose a courtyards for staff and another one for tourists. The inner-side of the tents is continuously sliced to form a polyline interface, while the curved surface facing outward are wrapped by white translucent PTFE membrane to remind visitors of Mongolian yurts as if they could be moved away to suit the nomadic living and express a respect to the Site.
